Mission

Emergency Training Xcellence (ETX) of Media, PA is an internationally renowned emergency care training and consulting company.  For over 25 years, ETX has helped to prepare tens of thousands of concerned and caring individuals who work – on land, at sea, in the sky and on the rails – and who may need to respond to life threatening medical emergencies.  ETX offers customized first aid, CPR and AED training programs as well as emergency care planning and support services for all types of work sites.  It also provides low coat AEDs and AED program implementation and management services.  

The founder of ETX and its principle is emergency nursing and EMS pioneer Frank Poliafico, RN.  In addition to being widely recognized as the “Father of Emergency Medical Services” in Delaware County, Frank is an award winning emergency care educator, author and the former Director of EMS for City of New York.
